AELO production

AELO BLUE WOMAN was created by the Swiss artist Lisa Maito in 2004.

AELO is a figure representing foreignness, a blue woman who has come to meet people and cultures, inspiring tolerance, grace and harmony.

AELO interacts with human beings in an intensive and mysterious manner through gestures, dance and song.

Swiss artist Lisa Maito travels around the world with AELO to document her interactions with people and cultures in an artistic manner by means of film and photographs.

ENERGIZER PRODUCTIONS is preparing a concert/show ‘AELO the blue woman’, a movie production and a TV reality show: “AELO - Encounters between people & cultures”.
